Email - How to configure Outlook Express 6.0 (Win)

How do I configure Outlook Express 6.0 on my windows computer?
First, Outlook Express 6.0 is the only alternate email program recommended by Seattle University OIT, aside from Outlook or Outlook Web Access. Outlook Express 6.0 is currenly only available for Windows users and it is recommended that you use Internet Explorer 6.0 or higher with this program.
Open Outlook Express 6.0
Open OE 6.0 via the desktop icon or from the Start > Programs menu.
Open Internet Accounts dialog box
Choose Tools > Accounts.
Add a new Mail account
From the Mail tab, click the Add button and choose the Mail option to display the Internet Connection wizard.
Enter your Display name
Enter your name as you wish it to appear when you send messages and press the Next button.
Enter your E-mail address
Enter your Seattle University email address and press the Next button.
Select the incoming mail server - IMAP
Select IMAP from the "My incoming mail server is a" drop down list.
Enter the incoming mail server: owa.seattleu.edu
Enter owa.seattleu.edu as the "Incoming mail (POP3, IMAP or HTTP) server".
Enter the outgoing mail server: owa.seattleu.edu
Enter owa.seattleu.edu as the "Outgoing mail (SMTP) server" and press the Next button.
Enter Account name
Enter your Seattle University network/email username (your email address without the @seattleu.edu)
Enter Password
Enter your Seattle University network/email password. You may choose to select the Remember password option if do not wish to type your password in each time you send/receive mail.
DO NOT use SPA
Do not select the option to "Log on using Secure Password Authentication (SPA)".
Click Next and then Finish to complete the Internet Connection Wizard.
Modify the security properties for the new Mail account
Choose Tools > Accounts. Select the newly created Mail account and press the Properties button.
Incoming Mail Server Authentication
No changes to be made. Be sure, DO NOT select the option to "Log on using Secure Password Authentication."
Outgoing Mail Server Authentication
Select the Servers tab and CHECK the Outgoing Mail Server option "My server requires authentication."
Advanced properties - Outgoing Mail
Select the Advanced properties tab. Ensure the Outgoing mail port number is 25 AND CHECK the box for the "This server requires a secure connection (SSL)" option.
Advanced properties - Incoming Mail
On the Advanced properties tab. Ensure the Incoming mail port number is 993 AND CHECK the box for the "This server requires a secure connection (SSL)" option. Press the OK button to complete the process.
